So the last thing you would think of is umbrella etiquette! it rains you put your umbrella up and walk.But what happens when someone else with an umbrella or whats the proper eqtiquette when you go inside?
The are various ways how people avoid umbrella to umbrella contact when walking. They either walk round each other some rude people bump into people leading to possible damage to your umbrella.
When approaching somone with a umbrella you can either left the umbrella up ( if your taller than the person ) or simply tip the umbrella to the left or to the right.
Taking your umbrella down.

By the time you get home , work or where ever you are going your umbrella is likely to be soaked.Before taking it down shake the umbrella to get rid of excess water. DONT put it in your bag yet! If you are at home place it in your umbrella stand to dry. if there is no stand to put it in lean it against the wall or on the floor away from where it could be tread on! |
